Nrityanjali Committee Performance at HSNC University Patriotism Event

HSNC University organized a Cultural Event on Patriotism to mark the beginning of the academic year 2025–26. The Nrityanjali Committee of H.R. College, led by President Niharika Ghadigaonkar, proudly represented the institution through captivating performances celebrating India’s unity in diversity.
Simran and Siona presented a graceful Kathak performance on patriotic melodies, reflecting the nation’s cultural richness. This was followed by a fashion show featuring Siona, Mahek, Trushti, Charvi, Esha, Faiz, Mayank, and Raashi, who depicted various Indian festivals, symbolizing the country’s vibrant traditions.
The performances carried a powerful message — while India celebrates countless festivals, it is Independence Day and Republic Day that truly unite every citizen under one flag. The heartfelt acts were met with warm applause, evoking national pride and celebrating the spirit of unity in diversity that defines India.
Nrityanjali Committee Performance at FY Orientation of Self-Finance Courses

The Nrityanjali Committee of H.R. College of Commerce and Economics presented a graceful Bharatanatyam Ganesh Vandana during the First-Year Orientation Programme for Self-Finance Courses – 2025.
The event began with an invocation seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, performed by Siona Shah, Mahek Kothari, and Deeya Nagdev. Their elegant performance set a spiritual and auspicious tone for the ceremony, marking a harmonious start to the new academic journey for the incoming students.

The Inauguration of Nrityanjali

The inauguration of H.R. College's Indian classical and folk-dance committee, "Nrityanjali," took place on August 17, 2024, attended by Principal Dr. Pooja Ramchandani and faculty members. The event began with a traditional Ganesh and Nataraj puja, followed by captivating performances in Kathak, Bharatnatyam, and Garba by talented committee members, showcasing India's rich cultural heritage. Dr. Ramchandani inspired the participants to embrace their artistic potential and promote dance traditions, while committee president Niharika Ghadigaonkar expressed gratitude to all contributors. This successful launch marks the beginning of a vibrant year for Nrityanjali.
Nrityanjali Committee at VOYAGE 2024
September 27, 2024
Nrityanjali, the classical and folk dance committee of H.R. College, participated in VOYAGE 2024, a prestigious intercollegiate event hosted by Jai Hind College.
The team presented a captivating fusion performance combining Bharatnatyam and Kathak. Bharatnatyam dancers performed to a vibrant Karnataka rendition of the song "Swalla", while the Kathak performers enthralled the audience with a dynamic piece set to "Calm Down." The performance culminated in a powerful Jugalbandi, showcasing the synergy between both dance styles and earning enthusiastic applause.
This marked Nrityanjali’s first official competition, and the team was thrilled to represent the college on such a grand stage. They expressed gratitude for the platform and look forward to future opportunities to perform and grow.
Talent Parade Committee

The Nrityanjali Committee of H.R. College made a spectacular debut at Talent Parade 2024, held at Birla Matoshri Sabhagar on September 28. The team presented two performances—a graceful welcome dance in honor of Lord Ganesha and a dynamic classical fusion piece. Featuring a blend of Bharatnatyam and Kathak, the dancers performed to the songs “Swalla” and “Calm Down,” concluding with a powerful Jugalbandi that highlighted their coordination and artistry. The committee was grateful for the opportunity to perform at such a prestigious event and looks forward to future showcases.
Kshitij 2025

The Nrityanjali Committee of H.R. College participated in Kshitij 2025 at Mithibai College on January 9, where President Niharika Ghadigaonkar represented the team in the Classical Kali (Solo Classical Dance) event. Aligned with the event’s theme of depicting the stages of life—childhood, youth, adulthood, and old age—she delivered a captivating Bharatanatyam performance that combined grace, expression, and storytelling, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
SAFAR 2025
January 20, 2025
The Nrityanjali Committee of H.R. College participated in SAFAR 2025 on January 20 at K.C. College Auditorium, proudly representing the state of Karnataka. Deeya Nagdev and Shrinidhi Poojary gave solo Karnataki dance performances, while members including Siona Shah, Charvi Premchandani, Trushti Jitiya, Neal Sarvaiya, and Mrityunjay Pandey joined them in a vibrant fashion walk showcasing Karnataka’s cultural heritage. The committee secured first place in the Fashion Walk competition, and Shrinidhi Poojary was crowned Miss Safar 2025—marking Nrityanjali’s first official achievement as a classical and folk dance committee at H.R. College.
Nrityanjali Committee performed at Maharashtra Raj Bhavan

The Nrityanjali Committee of H.R. College had the honour of performing at the Maharashtra Raj Bhavan during the State Foundation Day celebration of Meghalaya, Manipur, and Tripura, organized under the Government of India's Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. Representing the rich cultural heritage of Manipur, Shrinidhi Poojary delivered a captivating dance performance as part of a larger cultural program by HSNC University students. The event, held in the esteemed presence of Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, also featured audio-visual presentations and was attended by university dignitaries, faculty, and students.
