Students from Borough of Manhattan Community College, New York This SIP had 13 students and 1 faculty from the BMCC, experiencing India through a cultural, academic and social immersion programme at H.R. College. This involved a combination of lectures, visits and workshops to render a holistic experience of the Indian Culture and how various social issues are faced and tackled by the country.

Canadian Consulate, Mr. Richard Bale
In his address Consul General Bale spoke of being raised in an era of constancy and noted that the students have been born in an era of change, change that opened up avenues of new learning and new career opportunities. He spoke about the globalization of H.R. College and also discussed social initiatives taken by the youth and developing themselves to be young entrepreneurs. He noted that more and more youth today want to set up their own enterprises. He focused on how people should have good business ethics along with economic agendas.

Hong Kong University
Mr. Carl Tang, the Assistant Manager, Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Office visited H.R. College to give an info session on undergraduate programmes.

University of Queensland & Venture India, Brisbane Australia
Mr. Michael Kasprowicz who is a founding partner of Venture India visited HR College with delegation from the University of Queensland Business School. The faculty members – Dr. Sarah Kelly, Senior Lecturer of Marketing and an MBA Director in the University of Queensland, Dr. Jon Heales who is a senior lecturer in the Business Information System also accompanied them.

Mr. Eric Rowell, Admission Counsellor of Duke University gave an informative session on the graduate programmes offered at Duke University.
8th September
Bentley University, Muhlenberg College, Quinnipiac University & Skidmore College
Ms. Catherine Forrester, senior Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission of Bentley University discussed about her institution’s backdrop and Bentley been ranked #1 by College Factual for the best business, management, and marketing school in the nation.
Ms. Kim Nguyen, assistant Director of Admission and Coordinator of International Student Recruiting represented Muhlenberg College located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She talked about arts and culture being emerging fields in the college.
Ms. Ariana Vacs Renwick, assistant Director of Admissions of Skidmore College, New York told how creative thought matters in all pursuits and that’s their core mantra. Then she went on to discuss about her undergraduate courses in liberal arts and science.
Mr. Andrew Antone, director of International Admissions of Quinnipiac University addressed students about university being a small one but offering big opportunities. He talked more of hands on experience among students and their career development.

Consulates from U.S.A, France & Netherland
Joel Burger, the Consulate from U.S.A. spoke about process to apply in USA. He also briefed us about the scholarships offered in USA at different time levels. Amruta Datar, an educational advisor for France played an interesting quiz with the audience in which she gave relevant knowledge about France to the crowd. Then she went upto the process of applying in France and she also told how scholarships are growing in France. She also discussed about Luxury Brand
Management as an emerging field in France.
Sudha Sudeep, Senior Education Promotion Officer, Nuffic Neso India, Professional Accountant Turned Educationalist told about Netherland’s student friendly environment and also engaged us in various English programs held in Netherlands.
