FY M.Com Orientation (2025–26)
Date: 16th July 2025 Attendees: 100
The orientation for the FY M.Com (2025–26) batch was held on 16th July 2025 to familiarize students with the program structure and academic expectations. Dharti Ma’am briefed students on the curriculum, core and elective subjects, assessment methods, and the importance of selecting electives that align with their career goals. She also highlighted the mandatory internship component and introduced Self-Learning Evaluations (SLEs), designed to build presentation skills, critical thinking, and independent learning.
Principal Dr. Pooja Ramchandani welcomed the students and encouraged them to make the most of the academic, co-curricular, and professional opportunities offered by the department.
The M.Com Committee outlined its purpose and shared key initiatives from previous years, including industrial visits, masterclasses, and the Shadow Program, motivating students to participate actively.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A conducted by Dr. Jasbir Ma’am and Dharti Ma’am, providing clarity on course-related queries and helping students prepare for the year ahead.
Educards Creation: Freedom Fighter Edition
Date: 15th August 2025 Attendees: 88
The M.Com Committee of H.R. College, in collaboration with ConnectFor, conducted an engaging Educards Creation session led by Ms. Saee on 15th August 2025. The activity focused on designing interactive “Educards” that highlighted national and regional leaders, with a special emphasis on India’s freedom fighters.
Using Canva, participants created cards featuring an image, an interesting fact or achievement, and the leader’s name revealed at the end—encouraging a guess-the-leader format. The session blended creativity, design skills, and historical learning, while also sparking meaningful discussions on the contributions of various freedom fighters.
All completed cards were submitted to build an educational resource bank for students. The activity not only celebrated the spirit of Independence Day but also empowered volunteers to create engaging tools that help young learners connect with India’s rich history.
Navigating Corporate Culture & Global Career Paths

Mr. Damle began by addressing the common challenges faced by students—peer pressure, financial concerns, competitive career environments, and the search for purpose. He emphasized that despite these pressures, the current generation has access to diverse and expanding opportunities across global industries. KBC Educational Visit
August 20 & 25 August 2025 Attendees: 95
The MCom Committee of H.R. College organized an exclusive educational visit to the shooting set of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on 20th and 25th August 2025. A total of 95 students participated, with 45 attending on Day 1 and 50 on Day 2, including both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The visit provided a rare opportunity for students to observe the live shooting of one of India’s most celebrated quiz shows. They gained first hand exposure to media production, the workings of a professional television set, and the high level of coordination maintained by the crew.
A memorable highlight was witnessing the legendary Mr. Amitabh Bachchan in action. His discipline, energy, and commitment deeply inspired the students. Additionally, observing contestants on the Hot Seat helped participants understand the importance of presence of mind, confidence, and composure in high-pressure situations.
The visit also encouraged interaction among students from various programs, fostering networking, shared learning, and a strengthened sense of community within the college.

In conclusion, the industrial visit to the National Stock Exchange was a truly enlightening experience, providing attendees with a unique opportunity to learn from some of the most renowned names in the financial industry.

Ms. Surbhi Choradia secured Second Runner-up Position for avatar make-up, she excelled at tattoo making and bagged the First Position and a cash prize for the same. While Mr. Yash Punjabi secured Second Runner-up Position at the Rapping event conducted.
