The Investment Club of H.R. College or I.C.H.R. is the finance club of the college. It stresses spreading financial literacy among students through the practical applicability approach.
In light of their motive “Make an Investment in yourself”, it organizes numerous events throughout the academic year ranging from seminars and Stock exchanges to BLAZE, H.R. College’s very own intercollegiate finance festival.

Turf Sports Event
Date: July 21, 2024
The Investment Club of H.R. College hosted an informal Turf Sports Event to promote team spirit, physical fitness, and camaraderie among members. Held at Mahalakshmi Turf, the event featured games like Dog and the Bone, football, and relay races. Students enthusiastically participated in the friendly competitions, showcasing teamwork and sportsmanship. The event was a great success, filled with energy, excitement, and active participation. The ICHR looks forward to organizing more such events in the future.
Icebreakers 2024
Date: August 12, 2024
The Investment Club of H.R. College organized an engaging icebreaker session aimed at fostering interaction and building a sense of community among new students. Held in a college classroom from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the session facilitated networking, eased first-day jitters, and enhanced overall student engagement.
The day began with a warm welcome by Teacher-in-Charge Dr. Tasneem Razmi, followed by an introduction of the Core Committee and departments for the year. Several interactive games—such as Guess the Song by its Emoji and the Hook-Step Challenge—encouraged participation and bonding.
Approximately 150 students, including both new and returning members, attended the session. The diverse group fostered a dynamic environment, with participants actively engaging in each activity. The session successfully promoted interaction, created a welcoming atmosphere, and enhanced communication among students.
Kaleidoscope 2024
Date: August 20–25, 2024
Kaleidoscope, the annual intra-collegiate festival hosted by Sophia College, was held from August 20 to 25, 2024, with the theme "Cinecity." The five-day fest featured diverse events in sports, performing arts, fine arts, and informal activities, encouraging participation and cultural exchange among students from across the city.
Highlights included Street Football, War of DJs, JAM, and Mx Kscope. The H.R. College team secured multiple podium finishes in events like Silence! The Court is in Session, Street Dance, and Reel-athon.
The team’s success was led by Contingent Leader Kashvi Khonda and Assistant CLs Goon Fagania and Sagar Galrani, whose dedication was instrumental.
Arthanomics 2024
Date: August 30–31, 2024
The 11th edition of Arthanomics was held at Jai Hind College. This intercollegiate business and economics festival provided a platform for youth to tackle contemporary issues through creativity and collaboration.
Events included Bullseye (a stock market simulation), Seal the Deal, Lair of Lies, and Eco-Unearthed (a themed treasure hunt). H.R. College students participated with enthusiasm and secured several wins, including 1st place in Checkmate in the Cabinet, a unique strategy-based chess event.
The team’s success was credited to Shivam Dubey (CL) and Sanskriti Jain (ACL), whose leadership ensured a smooth and winning performance.
Teacher’s Day Celebration

The Investment Club organized a Teacher’s Day celebration within the college premises. Celebrated worldwide, the day honors the invaluable efforts of educators.
This year’s theme, "Big Bs of the 90s," was a nostalgic tribute to pop culture of the era. The event featured 90s-themed games such as Spin to Sing, Key for the Objects, and Ask the Right Questions, providing teachers with a chance to unwind and reminisce.
The event highlighted the joyful and playful bond between students and teachers, celebrating the spirit of mentorship in a fun-filled way.
Callisto 2024
Date: September 29–October 1, 2024
Callisto, the annual intra-collegiate festival of H.R. College, organized by GEMS, took place over three days. This year’s theme, "Utopia," celebrated creativity and idealism.
Events spanned dance, music, drama, and more, with flagship highlights including The Wicked Showdown (Broadway musical), Prada-o-Nada (fashion show), Defend Till the End (sports event), and Gate-to-Success (tycoon quest).
H.R. College placed third overall, thanks to the efforts of Priyal Choudhary (CL) and Krish Jain (ACL), who played pivotal roles in the team’s success.
Career Guidance & Profile Building Workshop
Date: December 20, 2024
Led by Mr. Jimeet Sanghavi, this workshop focused on aligning strengths with career paths, creating strong resumes, and developing key skills.
Attended by 150 students, the session included practical tips and personalized guidance. The workshop was well-received and helped students gain confidence in shaping their academic and professional journeys.
Blaze CL Meet
Date: January 10, 2025

The CL Meet marked the start of BLAZE’25 with a gathering of all contingents. Held at Tierra Kitchen, Worli, it was an evening of strategy, bonding, and celebration.
The event featured networking, discussions, and a captivating live performance by Dipesh—a singer, songwriter, and composer—whose music elevated the night. The meet served as both an icebreaker and a motivating curtain-raiser for the grand event ahead.
Seminar on AI in Digital Marketing
Date: January 22, 2025
Attendees: 75
The Investment Club, in collaboration with IIDE, hosted a seminar led by Mr. Vikrant H.J. Vedant. The session explored AI’s impact on marketing, including personalized campaigns, predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and chatbots.
Ethical issues such as transparency and data privacy were also discussed, offering students a well-rounded understanding of AI’s transformative role in digital marketing.
Bullseye
Date: January 23, 2025
Attendees: 220
Bullseye, the flagship mock stock exchange event, offered participants a simulated trading experience using virtual portfolios. The event featured real-time market data, expert speakers, and competitive rounds.
Over 20 colleges and clubs from across Mumbai participated, making it one of the most successful and energetic events hosted by the Investment Club.
Opening Ceremony of Blaze’25

BLAZE’25 opened with grandeur, starting with a Ganpati Aarti followed by the banner unveiling. A live drum performance and color bombs added to the excitement, marking the official beginning of the festival.
Blaze 2025
Date: February 1–4, 2025
The 14th edition of BLAZE embraced the theme “The Shadows of the Wild West.” The four-day fest featured 20+ events across performing arts, fine arts, and literature.
With over 1,500 attendees and participants from 15+ colleges, the campus buzzed with energy. Highlights included grand stage performances, food stalls, and a live concert by singer Bharat Chandak.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, celebrating creativity, collaboration, and cultural spirit.
Managma 2025
Date: February 14–15, 2025
The 5th edition of Managma, Zest Club’s flagship fest at K.C. College, followed the theme “Realms of the Multiverse.”
Events included management games, panel discussions, and cultural performances. The team from H.R. College secured podium finishes in Wonder to Knowhere, LinkedIn Lingo, and 7 Khoon Maaf, under the leadership of CL Ria Rangwani and ACLs Naisha Jain and Harsh Matlani.
Ole 2025
Date: February 23–24, 2025
Ole 2025, an intercollegiate fest themed “Lashkara,” featured vibrant music, dance, drama, and creative competitions like graffiti, mehendi, and shoe painting.
The team from H.R. College excelled in Teri Kahani Teri Zubaani (mono acting), JAM, and Debate. Special credit goes to CL Venesha Rajdev and ACLs Rishi Shah and Manthan Jain for their dedicated coordination and leadership.

MONEY MATTERS: EXPLORING MACROECONOMICS, FINANCE AND INVESTING

Investment Club of H.R College organised a seminar on ‘Money Matters: exploring Macroeconomics, Finance and Investing” with speaker Anmol Sharma. Anmol Sharma is a financial educator, content creator, CEO, and Co-founder of startups Karegivers and Finlight. He is a B.Tech graduate from NIT Jalandar but with a passion for finance. The highlight of the seminar was to clear our concepts about macroeconomics, investments and the importance of compounding.

On September 5, the Investment Club at H.R. College organised an exceptional Teacher’s Day Celebration that transcended the usual accolades for our dedicated educators. This year, our focus was on exploring the captivating dynamics between two generations: Gen Z and Millennials. The event was honoured by our esteemed Principal, Dr. Pooja Ramchandani, making it an unforgettable day filled with fun, dance, and camaraderie.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the principal, faculty members, and all attendees. The heart of the celebration was a thought-provoking discussion on “Gen Z vs. Millennials”, fostering a lively exchange of ideas where teachers and students shared their perspectives on generational differences, preferences, and experiences.
The Investment Club orchestrated a spectacular dance performance that set the stage ablaze. Both students and teachers showcased their dance moves, resulting in a joyous and unforgettable experience. Teachers took centre stage as they were showered with heartfelt messages and tokens of appreciation. The celebrations ended with a cake cutting ceremony & gifting goodies to all the teachers and making it a truly significant day in the academic calendar.

Investment Club of H.R. College organised Teacher’s Day commemorating the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former president of India. It is said that this day came into existence when some of his students decided to celebrate his birthday, and he said instead of celebrating his birthday, they should celebrate this day as Teachers’ Day and show respect to all the teachers.
On Teachers’ Day, ICHR held cultural performances and conducted games for teachers. The theme was retro. At the end of the program, the principal of the college Dr. Pooja Ramchandani gave away trophies to the Best Dressed Teacher nominated by the students. The principal gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the teachers and also appreciated the teachers for their immense contribution to the institution for years. The entire programme ended on a happy note.

November 25, 2021Icebreaker session helped in creating a positive group atmosphere broke down group barriers, and energized, relaxed and motivated people. The session was well spent with the club members playing fun games while gelling and getting to know each other. ACTIVITIES 2020-2021
Events organised this year were seminars, webinars, and panel discussion with renowned guest speakers who not only provided a lot of useful information and knowledge, but also shared their experiences, which would act as a guide for students.
- A Panel Discussion with Mr. Mukesh Dedia and Mr. Kunal Rambhia on the topic "PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF WEALTH CREATION" helped students gain invaluable insights in the process of investing in various different asset classes where the investments will help in fulfilling key needs.
- A Webinar on "Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence" on April 29, 2020; with esteemed speakers Mr. Rehan Patel and Mr. Alok Yadav, who spoke about how Data Analytics and AI have changed the ways of working and making decisions.
- A Webinar on “Coach Your Approach” with Mr. Nikunj Kedia on October 24, 2020; who through this webinar gave us a gist of the various degrees and courses we can apply in the Financial Field.

May 28, 29 & 30, 2020Gods’ Eye was the first online mock stock event conducted by the Investment Club of H.R. College despite the pandemic, engaging individuals of all age groups in a fun 3 day mock-stock event where the participants traded on companies based on their past history, demand and supply and other factors. Over 120 individuals participated in this event.
ALDEBARAN
July 15, 16 & 17, 2020Aldebaran was the 1st Online National Intercollegiate festival, where over 26 colleges across 10 cities participated. The festival consisted of 8 events which were broadly divided into various categories of Finance, Management, Economics, Investment, Marketing, Advertising and Cultural followed by a Panel Discussion.

March 14, 2021TEAM ICHR and Team Epsilon (Jr. College) participated in ARTHASHASTRA, an event organised by N.M. College and won the 1st position. Arthashastra is a financial market festival where the knowledge of the participants regarding financial markets & investments is put to a test.

March 14, 2021TEAM ICHR of HRC participated in JOULES, an intercollegiate event organised by K.C. College. The HR College team won the overall 2nd position. Joules was a cultural and management fest where students portrayed their talent and intelligence spread over a myriad of events.
BOMBAY BUSINESS CONCLAVE
January 31, 2021TEAM ICHR of HRC participated in Bombay Business Conclave (BBC), the Triathlon i.e., combination of Business, Cultural and Sports events organized by PDSEFB NMIMS.
The entire event was spread across 3 days, which contained 18 to 20 events testing the participant’s skills in different ways. H.R. College team participated in this event for the first time and managed to secure the 2nd Position!

February 26, 2021TEAM ICHR participated in MANAGMA, an intercollegiate fest organised by K.C. College. HR College won the 2nd position, where managerial, financial and economical skills were put to test.

August 30, 2020Epsilon (Jr. College) has been participating in this intercollegiate event organised by Mathematics Association of Podar, hosted by R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics; for the past three years, and winning every time! This year it was the first Pan India Level Digital Mathematics Event wherein Epsilon Club along with Investment Club of H.R. College participated as one contingent and secured the 1st Runners Up in overall event.

Seminar on Union Budget 2019
ICHR conducted a seminar on the Budget passed on July 30, 2019 . The speaker Mr. Prashant Bhojwani decrypted the many facets of the Union Budget to enlighten the students.
BLAZE 2020
ICHR hosted the 9th edition of the biggest inter-collegiate festival having events in the field of Finance, Management and Business on January 28 & 29, 2020. It had a footfall of 650+ students. Bullseye, a celebrity mock stock exchange event, was scheduled on January 28 as a pre event. 7 events like The Knightmare, The Million Dollar Walk, The Ball of Fame, Blaze Icon etc. were held on January 29 where participant’s financial knowledge and management skills were put to test.
