NUMERO UNO 2019

September 14, 15 & 16, 2019

The Numero Uno Committee of H.R. College organized its flagship event Numero Uno, Mumbai's largest intercollegiate Mathematics and Statistics festival. This year it witnessed over 1,100 participants in all, from over 21 schools and colleges across Mumbai, with 9 Intra college clubs.

DISCIDIUM 2020

January 30 & 31, 2020

Discidium, a business and economics fest of the College was organised for the 4th consecutive year, this time for two days. This year the total number of participants went up to 239 across all events, from eight colleges in and around Mumbai.

BLAZE 2020

January 28 & 29, 2020

Investment Club of HR College hosted the 9th edition of the biggest inter - collegiate festival BLAZE'20 having events in the field of Finance, Management and Business. With having widespread participation from all the top colleges of Mumbai.
BLAZE 2020 had a footfall of 650+ students. Bullseye, a celebrity mock stock exchange event was scheduled on January 28 as a pre event.

  • 3rd position - Mithibai College

NAANDI ‘20

January 6-8, 2020

The flagship intercollegiate event of MVM club successfully completed its fourth year and was organised by the club with 60 members with the inaugural ceremony held on January 6, 2020.

OFF D' CUFF

January 20 & 21, 2020

The Public Speaking & Debating Society hosted the 7th Edition of its Flagship Inter- Collegiate Literary Fest Off D' Cuff which was attended by colleges from all over Mumbai. This year was a special edition of OFF D' CUFF as H.R. College celebrated its 60th Anniversary and special attention was given to the aim of inclusivity as this year most of the events of the fest were offered in English as well as the vernacular languages of Hindi and Marathi to encourage students from various backgrounds to be a part of the event.

The events conducted as part of OFF D' CUFF were:

  5. Poetry Recitation
  6. Story Telling
  7. Report Writing

The trophy for “Best College Overall” at OFF D' CUFF 2020 was awarded to D.J. Sanghvi College of Engineering for their outstanding performance during the fest.


DASTUR DEBATE COMPETITION 2020

January 16 & 18, 2020

Growth Development Change Cell in association with the Chambers of Tax Consultants organized the 3rd edition of the Dastur Debate at H.R. College. There were 32 teams of two participants each, from top Commerce and Law Colleges, as well as CA and Law firms in the competition.

All topics were along the lines of politics, current affairs, law and international news. The motion for the final round read, "Reservations are good for country's progress." The teams put up relevant points for and against the motion, talking about the various government policies and their views on the concept of reservations. All teams were judged on the basis of their content, presentation, rebuttal and their conclusion.

  • 1st position - Palash Bhatt and Vedant Gada from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics
  • Best Speaker trophy - shared by Soham Pandya from MB Nayak & Co. and Sparsh Shah from Hinesh R. Doshi (firm).

ELYSIUM - THE FITNESS EXTRAVAGANZA

February 14 & 15, 2020

Elysium 2020 was the fourth edition of the fitness & wellness college fest, abundant with zestful sessions and events. Students from various colleges across Mumbai took part in dynamic workout sessions like Bollywood Yoga, Social Jive, Dance-out Workout, Zumba, Hip Hop and Freestyle Bollywood. The sessions were conducted by fitness freaks from the industry like Hitesh Patel, Zin Payal, Khush Panchal, Burzin and many more.


INNOV8

August 8, 2019

The InsighT Club organised its first Inter-collegiate and largest-ever event INNOV8 with 23 different colleges participating from all over Mumbai with more than 500 participants. A total of 8 different and unique events were held throughout the day. Right from Techbuster, a life-size twist of the classic game Ludo to The Binge Show, a quiz on TV series, the day was filled with a plethora of events. H.R. Stock Exchange, a replica of stock exchanges, Fantasy 5, a mock football auction and FIFA, a 2v2 gaming contest turned out to be crowd pullers.

A Photography Workshop and Virtual Reality sessions were held for the incoming crowds. The day ended on a sweet note with the HR Talks, an interactive session which was graced by Youtubers Viraj Ghelani from FilterCopy and Anisha Dixit aka Rickshawali.
