Radio Gaga is a podcast created by the students, for the students, and of the students of H.R. College. Its content is topical and issues are varied. The goal is to provide an interactive and enjoyable forum for all listeners. The objective is to have instructive and entertaining conversations with the guests and provide a well-rounded experience for the guests and audience, by sharing the students' voices, views, and philosophies.
Radio Gaga is building itself to better connect with its listeners. Students also prefer podcasts to videos and text because of the ease with which they can consume them. Through radio gaga, the club wants to share the students' views and opinions with the world.

AUDIO BOOKS FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED

In a pioneering effort to contribute to the accessibility of literature for the visually impaired, students, on behalf of Radio Gaga Club of HR College recently joined hands with the National Association for the Blind (NAB). They aimed to record audiobooks, ensuring visually impaired individuals have enhanced access to a diverse range of literary works. NAB is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals who are visually impaired, nationwide. Their programmes address the challenges faced by the blind and strive at creating a conducive environment for the visually impaired. The project involved recording audiobooks at a professional recording studio. Students were allowed to select a variety of books, spanning genres and interests, catering to the diverse tastes of the visually impaired audience. The aim was to provide educational as well as entertainment content through literature.

‘Radio Gaga – The Podcast Cub wrapped their third episode for the season where it had the privilege of hosting Sunvi Aggarwal. Sunvi has launched her own brand very well which has grown from strength to strength. Very candidly, madam took the podcast through her journey, what it was like to build her brand, the experiences she has gained so far, how she managed time and stayed headstrong regardless of the adversities faced, and well shared her further aspirations over the next couple of years. It was a goldmine of an episode for students, especially for those gearing up for entrepreneurship, as it sheds light on topics like mental health, having strong business acumen, goal-oriented thinking, self-improvement and much more. It is a compelling episode for listening to.

‘Radio Gaga – The Podcast Cub of H.R. College had a start to its journey for the year 2023-24. The club wrapped their first episode for the season on November 4, where it had the privilege of hosting CA Ketal Chandaliya. Ketal sir secured an All-India Rank 48 in his CA Final Examinations, is an Alumnus of H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, works as a tax law consultant and is a mentor for students of competitive exams and professional courses like CA. Very candidly, sir took the podcast through his journey, what it took to secure a rank, how he managed time, how he stayed headstrong regardless of the adversities and shared his further aspirations as a professional. It was a goldmine of an episode for students, especially for those gearing up for competitive examinations, as it sheds light on topics like mental health, preparation strategies, goal-oriented thinking, self-improvement and much more. It is an episode that everyone ought to listen to.

PODCAST WITH JAM MASTER - HORMAZ RAGINA

Radio Gaga of H.R. College of Commerce & Economics organized a Podcast with Jam Master Hormaz Ragina. It was an online podcast as per the convenience of our guest and it helped the viewers understand a lot more about his life as a Jam master. Hormaz Ragina is very well known for his work as a Jam master, especially amongst students.
They would love to get a closer look into his life and know what it is like to be the best Jam master ever. He answered all the questions that many of us have always been curious about. The podcast ended successfully with many people impressed by his wit and talent.

Radio Gaga was started in October 2020 by three TYBMS Students, Jezreen Mody, Natalia Mistry, and Kaiana Dastoor, with a vision to start India's first College Radio Show and Podcast under the guidance of Dr. Pooja Ramchandani, I/C Principal; who supported, encouraged and guided them through all possible scenarios.
Radio Gaga is India's first official College Radio show and Podcast. Radio Gaga presents interviews conducted with accomplished personalities in their respective fields, past alumni, current club presidents, and teachers.
Radio gaga episodes are unique and very different from other podcasts; they contain interactive interviews, song breaks and conclude with a fun rapid-fire round with the interviewee. Overall, it's an enjoyable and engaging podcast.

Radio Gaga now has a tightly knit team handling all the functions from Content Writing to Radio Hosting, Guest Relations to Social Media Management, and Audio Editing.
We are deeply thankful to our Principal, Dr. Pooja Ramchandani, and Vice Principal, Dr. Naveen Punjabi for their support and encouragement without whom our Radio Show and Podcast would not be possible.
Radio Gaga has succeeded in creating a listening platform with a vast and varied audience. It aims to guide, counsel, support, and encourage the students and help them grow as individuals and as professionals.
